    The Global M.I.C.E.* Summit is an annual conference and expo that brings together experts and industry stakeholders in the Meetings & Business Events Industry (Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences & Exhibitions). The summit focuses on analysing the global trends and opportunities in the Meetings & Business Events industry.     The conference and award organisers, Future Group, engaged with members of the Association of Southern African Travel Agents, the African Business Travel Association and the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry to vote for the service providers they believed offered the most to travellers.

    Century City Conference Centre and Hotel (CCCC & H) Joint CEO Gary Koetser says this award is particularly important to the management and staff of the two venues that make up the specialist hospitality precinct, because votes are cast by professionals who toil at the coalface of the MICE industry every day and in the course of their business, make contact with scores of venues and service staff across the country.

    Koetser’s counterpart Glyn Taylor reiterates the tribute conferred with this particular award: “Since opening our doors in early 2016 we have had phenomenal feedback and we are honoured to have that recognised by the industry. CCCC & H’s considerable percentage of repeat business is testament to our service excellence and our attention to detail across all guest and client touch-points.”

    SAACI is a professional association that promotes sustainability within the business events industry in Southern Africa. The internationally recognised association facilitates an enabling environment for learning, growth and collaboration amongst business events professionals.

    Century City Conference Centre & Hotel win best venue at SAACI Awards

    Sustainability is part of CCCC’s DNA. With our buildings and various operational processes designed according to strict green building principles and guidelines, we strive to minimise the impact of our operations on the earth, and have implemented a number of policies and operational procedures to this end.

    CCCC and Century City Hotel (CCH), are both situated within Century City (CC) Square – the all-green commercial and hospitality hub of the Century City district in Cape Town. The entire precinct and all buildings within the space where designed and developed by Rabie Property Group as standard-setting examples of sound, sustainable and environmentally-friendly building practices.

    Our commitment to minimising environmental impact was acknowledged in 2017 with the award of a four-star Green Star (Custom Mixed-Use Design) certification by GBCSA. CC Square is the first mixed use development in the Western Cape, and the second in South Africa, to be awarded this top rating in the Design category.
